Injection molding machines are the core equipment in the plastic manufacturing industry. The machine heats and melts plastic pellets, injects the molten material into molds under high pressure, and forms finished parts through pressure holding and cooling. It supports stable and high-volume production for plastic components widely used in electronics, automobiles, household goods and daily consumer products. Proper machine setup is essential for steady quality, lower defect rates and consistent production.

Before every production run, complete a full machine safety check. Inspect the electric circuit, oil system, safety guards and mechanical parts. Make sure there is no oil leakage, loose components or abnormal failures, so all potential safety hazards are eliminated in advance.

After safety inspection, install and adjust the mold. Align and fasten the mold firmly, connect cooling water lines and auxiliary pipes, and test manual mold opening and closing for smooth operation. Enable low-pressure mold protection to prevent mold collision, compression damage and unnecessary wear.

Raw material treatment greatly affects molding quality. Different plastics absorb moisture differently. All pellets must be fully dried according to process standards to remove internal moisture. This avoids common defects such as bubbles, silver streaks and cracks. Only properly dried and clean materials can be loaded into the machine hopper.

Set the temperature of the barrel sections, nozzle and mold according to the plastic material, to ensure even melting and stable melt fluidity. Then fine-tune key parameters including injection pressure, injection speed, holding time, screw back pressure and rotating speed. These adjustments ensure full and uniform cavity filling and effectively reduce short shots, flash marks, sink marks and deformation.

Once all parameters are set, start trial molding. Observe the appearance, size and molding condition of sample parts, adjust parameters gradually and optimize the process repeatedly until the products meet stable quality standards.

After qualified trial runs, the machine can start formal mass production. During daily operation, conduct regular equipment checks, keep process parameters stable, and fix minor faults in a timely manner. This keeps the machine running efficiently, smoothly and consistently for high-quality production.
